RSHYR 2022 | Boxing Day Flashback - the smaller boats head south

After the seeming chaos and close calls that unfolded amongst the frontrunners as they worked their way out of Sydney Harbour on Boxing Day, the departure of the remainder of the fleet seemed quite orderly and a deal less stressful.

The Bow Caddy Media team in the air and on the water - stationed at the inner Harbour turning mark – capturing the action amongst a part of the fleet that doesn’t get so much attention.

We look back on that classic Boxing Day start – sun, breeze and action.
